Gaitor Jaipur

Gaitor is the royal crematorium located at the foot hills of Nahargarh Fort. There are several spectacular cenotaphs and memorials built in the memory of various distinguished members of the royal family of Jaipur. The most prominent of the cenotaphs is that of Maharaja Jai Singh, which is made in white marble. The cenotaph has twenty ornately carved pillars depicting scenes and figures from Hindu mythology, since the death of the Maharaja.
